Introducing the AW25 Anniversary Collection. Five years ago, Hést was born out of life’s turning points, shaped by courage, guided by instinct, and fuelled by the dream of doing things differently. In many ways, inspired by the life and legacy of Esben Johannessen: horse trainer, visionary, and beloved husband. ’Retrospect’ is a tribute to where we began – to every moment that defined us, and to Esben who remains an inspiration in all that we do. Retrospect celebrates everyone who’s been part of our journey.
With timeless silhouettes and high-quality design, this anniversary collection reflects the journey; new beginnings, evolving identities, and the beauty of never standing still. ’Retrospect’ reflects where we’ve been – and the fearless spirit that keeps pushing us forward.

We returned to Kubberød Stables – the place where Esben’s dream took shape. Built from scratch, Esben helped turn it into one of Norway’s most beautiful equestrian properties.
We chose to photograph the AW25 collection at Kubberød to reconnect with our roots – with Esben’s vision, his passion for horses, and the place where he lived and worked as a dedicated horse trainer.
