Every piece in our collection begins with a question: what story does the wearer want to tell today? We believe clothing should whisper your truth before you even speak, carrying the quiet confidence of someone who knows exactly who they are.

Our design process begins not with trends or seasonal color palettes, but with questions that keep us awake at night. How does fabric remember the body that wore it? Why do some clothes feel like armor while others feel like skin? What's the difference between being dressed and being adorned?
Each piece starts with what we call "the living sketch"—Maria wears muslin mockups for days, noting every tug, every unexpected comfort, every moment when the garment surprises her. She takes the subway in them, cooks dinner in them, argues with her partner while wearing them. "If a design can't handle real life," she says, "it doesn't deserve to exist."
It's the original drawing for what would become our bestselling jacket, but looking at it now, you'd never guess the months of obsession that followed that first pencil stroke.

"I kept dreaming about shoulders," Maria laughs, our head designer's eyes lighting up as she recalls those early days. "Not fashion shoulders—real shoulders. The way they carry weight, the way they curve when someone's tired, the way they straighten when confidence kicks in." That obsession led her down a rabbit hole of pattern-making that consumed three months and seventeen prototypes.
The breakthrough came at 4 AM on a Thursday. Maria had been wrestling with the armhole construction for weeks, trying to create something that felt structured without being restrictive. She was wearing an old blazer from her grandmother's closet—a 1960s piece with hand-sewn princess seams—when she noticed how the vintage tailoring moved with her body instead of against it. "Modern fashion forgot that bodies aren't geometric shapes," she realized. "They're alive."
